note:computeWithForm() --nil note:copyToDatabase(target: database) --note | nil Copy the note entirely to another database. The returned object should be checked against nil to prevent errors down the line.
note:embed(file: string, name: string) --nil Embed an element to the Note. The element will be embedded to the "$FILE" RichTextItem.
At this point in time the only way to embed an element is to use the {{globals/fetch}} function with the "DOWNLOAD" method and using the returned file parameter.
note:getItemValueString(key: string) --string note:getUniversalID() --string note:hasItem(key: string) --boolean Checks if an item exists in ths note.
note:removeItem(key: string) --nil Remove an item from the note.
note:remove(force: boolean) --nil Remove the note entirely.
If the force parameter is set to true, the note will be removed even if someone else has edited it between the time the note was opened and this function was called.
note:replaceItemValue(key: string, value: any) --nil Replace an item on the note with a value. Both the key and the value should account for Domino's known limits.
Instead of explicitly calling the function, the equals operator can be used to set items on the note aswell. See the example for more details.
-- Using the explicit function
note:replaceItemValue("Form", "CarQuota")
-- Using equals operator
note.Form = "CarQuota" note:save(force: boolean) --nil Save the note to the database.
If the force parameter is set to true, the note will be overwritten with your version even if someone else has edited it between the time the note was opened and this function was called.
